I am thoroughly enjoying this series！ It’s so fun and I’m enjoying the dynamics between the characters。 The concept itself is fantastic and I like how different characters are being introduced。 The art style is fantastic， the perfect mix of cute and dark and creepy。I can’t wait to read the next one！

I started reading this manga because I watched the anime and I was curious to how the manga compared and maybe it had more details that the anime left out。 So far it seems the anime added in a lot more stuff， and right now there has only been a couple scenes that were left out。 So far so good！

O segundo volume continua a explorar o lado ghoul。 Se o primeiro volume estabelece — através da perspectiva de um ex humano tendo um primeiro contato com a espécie — que ghouls são monstros violentos que se escondem em forma humana， esse volume trata de desmistificar esse preconceito。Acho que Tokyo Ghoul trabalha muito bem com esse dilema do que é ser monstro e como isso é uma questão puramente de perspectiva。 Ghouls têm família， sentimentos。 Ghouls buscam por sobrevivência enquanto são caçados O segundo volume continua a explorar o lado ghoul。 Se o primeiro volume estabelece — através da perspectiva de um ex humano tendo um primeiro contato com a espécie — que ghouls são monstros violentos que se escondem em forma humana， esse volume trata de desmistificar esse preconceito。Acho que Tokyo Ghoul trabalha muito bem com esse dilema do que é ser monstro e como isso é uma questão puramente de perspectiva。 Ghouls têm família， sentimentos。 Ghouls buscam por sobrevivência enquanto são caçados e essa situação cria um ambiente insustentável， que encontra na violência sua resolução。 Para os Ghouls， os humanos que lhes negam direitos fundamentais enquanto os caçam são os monstros。 Para os humanos， as criaturas que necessitam de carne humana para sobreviver são os monstros。 E， como toda questão problemática que se preze， aqui há tons de cinza。 Nesse volume somos apresentados a ghouls não violentos， incapazes de caçar para se alimentar。 Eles não são monstros sob nenhuma ótica， mas precisam comer。 Isso os torna monstruosos？Ao mesmo tempo somos apresentados aos "pombos"， caçadores de Ghouls que usam partes dos próprios ghouls como arma para assassiná-los。 Seus métodos são violentos e， por não acreditarem que suas presas são mais que monstros， eles não se acanham em ultrapassar qualquer limite moral para executar seus alvos。"Antiético？ Não se destrói o "mal" com "ética"。 Nós somos a justiça。 Nós dizemos o que é ético ou não。" Ao focar o ponto de vista narrativo nos Ghouls， o autor mostra que alguns indivíduos são monstruosos， mas não o todo。 Sociedades não são homogêneas， é errado definir um único comportamento a toda uma população， a menos que a intenção seja estereotipar e desumanizar。 Em Tokyo Ghoul， a desumanização é um projeto que visa o extermínio de toda uma espécie。 O worldbuiling segue sendo expandido。 Aprendemos alguns elementos que garantem a sobrevivência dos ghouls em sociedade， desde os treinos com alimentos humanos para se misturar socialmente até traços que criam subculturas a eles， como o uso de máscaras para esconderem suas identidades dos caçadores。 A trama do primeiro arco começa a se desenhar nesse volume， com alguns eventos importantes acontecendo e dando peso à narrativa。 Os personagens ganham mais agência e continuam bem escritos， as apostas aumentam， o tom da série se estabelece。 Como ainda é um volume de apresentação de conceitos/personagens/argumento， ele se preocupa mais em plantar as sementes que serão colhidas nos próximos volumes， mas a forma como apresenta me manteve preso na leitura durante o volume todo e querendo pegar o próximo， mesmo sabendo o que acontece a seguir。 。。。more

La historia se va volviendo cada vez más oscura y dura。 He sentido mucha impotencia al releer el tomo。 Es muy duro ver como hasta los ghouls buenos y que quieren tener una vida tranquila se ven afectados。 Me ha gustado mucho la froma mostrar que no hay malos en la historia， solo hay ghouls y humanos。 Ninguno esta en lo correcto ni se equivoca， sólo buscan una forma de mantenerse con vida。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This was another great one， we have Ken still learning going about his day and finding out about Ghoul life and he is working at Anteiku and he goes to meet Uta who is a mask maker， collects meat at suicide point with Mr Yomo and meets a mother and daughter duo named Ryoko and Hinami， teaches Hinami Kanji but then the sad part happens when he has to watch Ryoko dies cuz Ghoul Inspectors and we have Touka retaliating and it was the best part when she fights the investigators - Mado and Amon and t This was another great one， we have Ken still learning going about his day and finding out about Ghoul life and he is working at Anteiku and he goes to meet Uta who is a mask maker， collects meat at suicide point with Mr Yomo and meets a mother and daughter duo named Ryoko and Hinami， teaches Hinami Kanji but then the sad part happens when he has to watch Ryoko dies cuz Ghoul Inspectors and we have Touka retaliating and it was the best part when she fights the investigators - Mado and Amon and they are dangerous psychos， and some tension goes on between them at Anteiku。 Touka teaches Ken about Kagune and what it really is and thus starts the great part of Ken's ascension in the soon to coming battle to determine the fate of ghouls and the art style is growing on me and this world is getting exciting。 。。。more
